April 15, 2008 - 2008 Eric Hoffer Book Award Finalist

Our "It’s A Disaster!" book was a finalist for the 2008 Eric Hoffer Book Award. While our title did not win the Legacy category distinction, less than 50 books each year are dubbed with the title of "Finalist".

According to Bowker.com, over 150,000 books are published in the U.S. each year, and about half of them are published by small presses and independent publishers.

The Hoffer Award (formerly the Writers’ Notes Award) exists as a platform to honor independent books of exceptional merit produced by self-published, micro, small and Academic publishers and presses.
